Puma Fredy Quispe Singona was born in the highlands of Chinchero, in the Andean region of Peru. Since the age of six, he has been in training with his Grandfather in the traditional ways of the Paqo (Andean Medicine man). He is an international speaker and gives workshops about ancestral Inca healing and ways of global healing. He has also participated as a leader in different youth organizations worldwide. He is founder of Cusi Huayna, a cultural institution of youth in Chinchero. Puma also serves as a council member of INIYA (Indigenous and International Youth Alliance) and has worked with YES! as an activist for justice, healing and peace. He is on the board of advisors for One Heart, Many Rhythms, an NGO that supports the cultures and traditions of indigenous peoples. Puma leads spiritual pilgrimages in Peru to sacred ancient sites, for self-transformation and rebirth processes.
