Motaz Attalla has worked for a number of years in education and development in Egypt. He has been fortunate to travel to many parts of the world, where his experiences and the people he has met have made him seek a deeper understanding of the systemic roots of what is called ‘underdevelopment’. In addition to his work exploring alternatives to schooling, he has recently been focused on food and farming, and on supporting responsible enterprise and simple everyday processes that can help anchor healthier, happier ways of living.
